Ambrosia kalash which fell down in ocean due to a fight which took place between asuras and devas.samudra manthan is conducted to explore all the ratanas , devi laxami and ambrosia kalasj which had been lost so far. A madranchal mountain is used as a support and nag vasuki is used as a rope to shake the madranchal mountain so that ocean coulf be churned to explore everything what was lost!
